FEMA Letter of Map Amendment Services
Condominium projects initially deemed by FEMA to be in the special flood hazard areas face unique project approval difficulties and expensive Flood Insurance requirements. Project approval in these areas does not absolutely make a project ineligible. In some circumstances, a Letter of Map Amendment from FEMA can alter the flood area designations to make project approval possible and to remove the flood insurance requirements.
National Condo Inspections’ staff of State Licensed Professional engineers is there to evaluate and submit LOMA requests to FEMA in order to obtain project approval. NCI explores the unique aspects and opportunities of each project and finds solutions to their flood zone challenges. All of our LOMA services are done in compliance with FEMA, FHA and FNMA standards.
