If something here is wrong, out of date, or badly explained, that is worth telling us. Agency thresholds and state statutes in this area move quickly, and several pages exist because a widely published claim turned out not to survive checking. Corrections are genuinely welcome.

Things we cannot help with

We cannot tell you whether a particular building is approved for FHA, VA or conventional financing. We cannot review your condominium documents, assess your reserve study, or advise on your purchase. We do not inspect buildings and do not refer inspectors.

For those questions: your lender can run the project through agency review; the FHA condominium lookup is public and run by HUD; your association or its manager holds the documents; and a licensed inspector, engineer or attorney in the state where the building sits is who you actually need.
